Challenge / Goal
One of the fastest growing franchise organizations in the US
wanted to quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively expand its franchise concept
internationally. It desired to take its existing, proven, and successful franchise
development process and make it work effectively in other countries – without hiring
additional planning and analysis staff, and without having to deploy and learn a new
technology solution in each country.
Tactician In Action
Over a period of 18 months, Tactician-based systems were
created and deployed for 21 international countries. Duplicate systems are maintained in
both the company’s US corporate headquarters and locally, in each of the countries into
which it has expanded.
Results
- Within 6 months the company was using Tactician-based systems in 6 new
countries supporting its franchise development efforts.
- Within 12 months the company had Tactician-based systems in 15
new countries.
- Within 18 months the company had Tactician-based systems in 21
new countries.
- Because the user interface for all of the international systems was identical,
no incremental training costs were incurred as additional countries were added,
nor was additional staffing required.
- Successful analytical methodologies, techniques, and approval / deployment
processes, once validated in one country, were easily and quickly applied in
multiple countries.
