Tactician Resource Optimizer

Used to minimize the cost of geographic distribution and service resources.

The Resource Optimizer, a form of 'allocate to nearest', works by considering the number of territories and geographic components (e.g. ZIPS) to be allocated and demand at each zip code.

The output is a minimum-cost redistributed set of geographic components allocated to the territories to which it is allocated. The objective is that the overall efficiency of distribution in a market is maximized and costs minimized. Ideal for warehouse or service center location.
