Quality Assurance Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join and lead our Quality Assurance efforts for our
Internet and Desktop product offerings.
This individual will be responsible for:
- Documentation of product - current state through testing plans
- Updating and maintenance of plans as product evolves to allow additional resource allocation to
major QA initiatives and to ensure proper regression testing
- Set up, QA and documentation of new features or enhancements to products or systems
- Logging, tracking, and reporting of all issues in planning software
- Coordination with other teams for Regression testing and training on new features
- Management of QA and Deployment process in conjunction with IT
- Communication of current, pending, and planned enhancements to products through documentation of
new features and bug fixes being released with new version of products or systems for internal and
external communication
- Ownership of QA reporting status within the company
- Hands-on Regression and New Feature testing
- Evaluation and implementation of short and long term outsourcing opportunities for QA processes
- Periodic review of design documents prior to development for comment, flow, conflict with current
offerings
Skills we are seeking:
- Strong organizational skills and precise attention to detail
- Strong writing and communication skills
- VB Scripting and QA automation programming
- SQL
- Access / XLS
- Strong Documentation / Process Skills
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task
- Strong database management skills
Preferred experience:
- C++ or similar for programming automated QA software
- Training abilities for internal training efforts
- Familiarity with GIS systems and concepts
- 3+ years experience with QA process management and software review
