So What is a Filter Anyway?
In Tactician Online Power Reports or Single Site/Area Reports Wizards, there is a powerful section which we want to make sure you are using to its full advantage. It's called the Data tab.
In this tab, you are allowed to select up to 3 variables and use a comparison such as greater than >, less than <, equal to =, not equal to <>, and set a value. This is a very easy way to apply filtering or targeting to your maps and reports.
For example, you can use a filter to show all the ZIP codes in your trade area with a Median Household income over a specified amount, or areas where the expenditure in a particular category is higher than average. The filtered results will display in the Map window, in your report, and totals in your report will only include those areas that met your filtering criteria. Using the and/or parameters you can build selections that consider up to three variables in a single pass.
If you haven't used this feature yet – give it at try.
